Interview of Valérie Planella, C&D user at the Crédit Agricole Centre France
« We are the only C&D users in the Crédit Agricole Centre France, but we create maps for several departments within the company. In a way, we work as service providers to create the maps and applications they need. »
When did the Crédit Agricole Centre France start using C&D?
“When I arrived in the Geomarketing department, the team used MapInfo. We switched to C&D three years ago: at the time, we needed a powerful geocoding tool. We wanted to geolocate our network and clients ourselves, without resorting to a service provider, which saves the company money. We compared the software on the market, and decided C&D was the most user-friendly, efficient and dynamic solution.”
What kind of maps and applications do you create for the Crédit Agricole Centre France?
What are the advantages of the solution, according to you?
“At first, we spent time creating atlas templates; but once it was done, it saved us a lot of time. The mapping analysis model is ready: you just have to update your data file, and everything is updated automatically. The atlas is available with the same url, and users can access it easily.
What is more, using atlases is pleasant, intuitive and fun. It’s much easier for our teams to use these applications than an Excel file! It’s reactive and visually striking. The interface makes monitoring KPIs and highlighting data much easier: it’s DataViz.
About the GeoBox Pro, users see a real difference in the preparation of their field visits and in the effectiveness of their strategy to gain market shares. The use of the application is in its first phase: it’s still new, but we can already observe that this new tool caused a clear increase in the use of data by our sales representatives.”
